What is Light?
Light is a very important form of energy called "electromagnetic (EM) radiation" (but this kind of radiation is not harmful, except for occasional sunburn). Light energy is what helps keep us warm and lets us see the world. Our main source of light is the sun, also known as a primary source of light. The light that we as humans see is called ‘Visible light.'
How does light travel?
Light travels in waves at 300,000 kilometers a second.Light waves usually travels in straight lines called light rays. Each light wave is made up of different wavelengths which are different colours of light. Visible light or white light is made up of the 7 colours of the rainbow.
